Getting started
Set up your first site
Add your website, check what Rankoya learned about it, pick your core topics and choose how Rankoya works.
Setting up a site takes a few minutes. You can change every choice later.
1. Add your website
Enter your site's address. Rankoya analyses the site and works out what it is about and who it is for.
2. Check the description
Rankoya shows what it thinks your business is about and who your audience is. Edit anything that is wrong: everything Rankoya writes later builds on this.
3. Connect Search Console (optional)
Connecting Google Search Console lets Rankoya use the searches you already appear for. Keyword research gets sharper, and you see real clicks and impressions. Access is read-only. You can skip this step and connect later.
4. Choose your core topics
Google and AI answers favour sites that cover a subject completely. Your core topics are those subjects. Rankoya suggests them from real search data, including search volume and competition, and each one becomes a hub on your topical map.
5. Connect your website
Choose where Rankoya publishes finished articles: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix or Ghost. You can skip this and copy articles over by hand. See Connect your website and Google data.
6. Choose how Rankoya works
Pick how often Rankoya writes and how articles go live:
- Ask me first: Rankoya drafts each article and waits for your approval.
- Publish automatically: articles go live on schedule. You can still edit them after.
7. Choose a plan
Start on Free, which tracks your AI visibility and Google rankings, or choose a paid plan to add keyword research, the content plan and article writing. See Plans, billing and cancelling.
8. Your site is ready
Rankoya builds your first content plan, and your first scan and plan appear on the dashboard. The first scan finishes in about three minutes.
