Editorial policy
How we write what we publish.
The standards behind our blog, help centre and product pages.
This policy covers what we publish on rankoya.uk: the blog, the help centre and our product pages.
Accuracy
- We only describe what Rankoya does today. Product pages and help articles are written from the product itself. If a feature isn't available, we don't describe it as if it were.
- No invented numbers. We don't publish statistics, ratings, customer counts or benchmarks we can't back up. When we cite a figure, we link to its source.
- No promised results. Search and AI answers depend on many things outside anyone's control. We describe what Rankoya measures and does, not outcomes we can't guarantee.
Sources
When an article relies on outside information, we cite it and prefer primary sources: official documentation, original research and the platforms themselves.
How articles are written
Articles may be drafted with AI assistance, the same way Rankoya drafts articles for its customers. Every article is read, checked and edited by a person on the Rankoya team before it is published, and that person is responsible for its accuracy.
Examples
Screens and examples on this site use fictional businesses, such as Northwind Roasters, unless we say otherwise. Customer stories will only appear with the customer's permission and real results.
Dates and updates
Every blog post shows the date it was published. When we change an article in a way that affects its meaning, we update the date and say what changed.
Corrections
If you find something wrong, tell us. We correct factual errors promptly and note the correction on the page.
Independence
We don't accept payment for coverage or links in our articles. When we compare Rankoya with other products, we only state facts that can be checked, with the date we checked them.
